Our contractors are on site today, unfortunately, due the size of the tree our contractors will need to continue working on the tree tomorrow.
We anticipate that the tree will be removed by 2pm tomorrow and the canal back open.
Description
A large tree has fallen blocking the navigation and towpath between locks 20 W & 21 W Please moor either side of the obstruction and await instruction from Trust Staff. Contractors are due on site later today to remove the tree
We expect to have an update later this afternoon.
