Description

As a result of boat damage, Lock 24 has unfortunately had to be closed at Caen Hill.

The top gate on the offside has been lifted out of the cup with damage also caused to the quoin and coping stones.

An Engineer will be visiting site on Monday morning (11th July) to assess the situation. We will then start putting in place a plan to repair the lock and ensure it is operational again as soon as possible.

An update will be given on Monday 11th July following the Engineering visit.
