River levels have dropped sufficiently overnight on the Upper Trent.
Sawley Flood Lock gates are now open and the navigation is available for passage.

Due to both lock paddles now being broken, Sawley Flood Lock is out of action to customers.
We are currently monitoring the river levels, which are now dropping.
We will review them again on Saturday at 8:00am, with a view to being able to open the gates on Saturday 2nd July, and enable passage again for boaters,
The website will be updated Saturday morning.
Description
Due to both lock paddles now being broken, Sawley Flood Lock is out of action to customers.
