Horse Shoe Bridge Lock 11 Visitor Mooring

The visitor mooring on the River Avon adjacent to the Leisure Centre, below Pulteney Weir is closed until further notice for essential safety works. Bath and North East Somerset Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Boaters travelling East to Bath along River Avon are advised to use Broad Quay visitor mooring located immediately downstream of Bridge 198, Churchill Bridge, towpath side. Boaters travelling West to Bath along the canal should moor on the Widcombe Lock flight between Lock 11 and Lock 10 and enter the City Centre on foot.
