Lock 31, Ned's Lock, South Stratford Canal

The temporary sculpture at Ned’s Lock 31 is due to be removed with reinstatement to the lock area following immediately after. Works to extract the piece from its current position at the side of the lock will take place during the week 16th – 20th May. Works will be confined primarily to the offside area of the lock during this period, however the physical lifting-out of the sculpture is likely to involve more activity on both sides of the lock. The lift has been scheduled for 17th and 18th May and boaters are likely to experience delays during this period when navigating through the lock. The Canal & River Trust apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
