Please be advised that the third party works to Bridge 23 (Railway) have been extended until 15th January 2017.

However, please note the navigation will be open temporarily, with possibility of delays of up to 30 minutes, between 4th and 20th December 2016 and between 4th and 15th January 2017.

It is likely that, between the removal of the existing bridge and the erection of the new bridge, there will be a period during which the navigation will be open.

This is currently projected to be between 4 December and 20 December. There will be temporary restrictions during this period but navigation should be possible. Of course, with a significant engineering project of this kind
there could be delays and it is perhaps likely that these dates will change.

If it is crucial that you are the other side of these works before the navigation is due to be open in 2017, we’d strongly recommend passing through before the works start on 28 November.

Description
