Bath and North East Somerset Council’s Contractors will be undertaking Bridge Dive Inspection works to the Underwater elements of their Bridge structure and would also have Pontoons and Safety boats in the area.
Expect minor delays to allow their contractors carry out the works safely.
Description
XEIAD contractors for BANES intend to carry out dive inspections of the underwater elements of the bridge abutment wall. They will be working off a floating
pontoon and would have divers in the water inspecting and photographing the abutments for voids and other defects. They will have signs and banks men to control water traffic while the dive operation is going on. They are permitted to hold up boats up-to 1-hr to ensure the works can be undertaken safely
