Due to ongoing towpath resurface works this section of towpath will be closed earlier than planned.
Description
Towpath resurfacing works are to be undertaken and the towpath must be closed to ensure the safety of the public. NOTE – the towpath on the south side of the canal will be closed, but the towpath on the north side of the canal will remain open throughout, as an alternative.
These works are part of the wider Birmingham Cycle Revolution Project – further lengths of the Tame Valley Canal towpath will be closed subsequently for resurfacing.
