Navigation remains closed between Locks 41 to 43, Timbercliffe on the Rochdale Canal for the safety of our customers due to an unstable third-party building.
If you need to navigate through the affected area please call our North West Customer Support Team on 0303 0404040 with at least 24 hours notice so we can arrange an assisted passage.
A further update will be provided by Friday 15 September.

Navigation remains closed between Locks 41 to 43, Timbercliffe on the Rochdale Canal for the safety of our customers due to an unstable third-party building.
The third-party contractors continue carrying out essential works to a third-party owned building to make the area safe.

Navigation remains closed between Locks 41 to 43, Timbercliffe on the Rochdale Canal for the safety of our customers due to an unstable third-party building.
Whilst the third-party contractors have started works to the building, they will be allowing a controlled passage for those customers with a booking for the Summit Locks on Monday 28 August. Navigation will then remain closed until the third-party contractors are able to make the area safe.
A further update will be provided by Friday 1 September.
