Our teams have carried out remedial works to Bridge 68, Bells Bridge on the Lancaster Canal to make the area safe.
A long-term repair is now being planned for a later date. Should works impact on navigation, suitable notice will be provided.

Please be advised our teams are continuing to investigate a suitable method of repair for the damage caused by a vehicle strike at Bridge 68, Bells Bridge on the Lancaster Canal.
Navigation remains open, however, we politely request all customers to approach and navigate the bridge with caution.
A further update will be provided Tuesday 26 September.
