We are pleased to advise that these works have been completed sooner than expected and the restriction has now ended. The towpath will reopen from 08 March 24

Following a review of project methodologies, we are pleased to advise these works can now be done as a restriction; a closure is no longer required, however we need to move the dates of these works. The new dates for the navigational restriction are 02 January 2024 through to the 31 March 2024.
