Unfortunately, due to water levels being too high, we are deferring these works. The team are unable to reach the site, which is accessible only by floating plant, and they are now past the point in which any meaningful work could be completed. We will look to re-plan these works into a future planned works programme.

Description

A stoppage is required to repair towpath copings and do embankment repairs.

Whilst this stretch of the canal is already closed due to essential piling works at Bridge 219a, the Trust will carry out these works at the same time to minimise future disruption.
