Please be advised, the repair works to Lock 7, Firepool Lock, are no longer going ahead, we have re prioritised the resource to Lock 72, Cobbler Lock on the Kennet & Avon Canal, the works here have been delayed considerably due to flooding. This means lock 7 will no longer be restricted.
A restriction is required to fit new balance beams to the top & bottom gates.
The lock will be closed between 9:00am - 12:00pm, and 13:00pm to 15:00pm.
The lock will be open from 12:00pm - 13:00pm and after 15:00pm.
This closure will be from Monday to Friday only.
