Further to the notice below, we would like to clarify that these works do not restrict navigation, but ask that vessels keep well away from the site and pass Hempstead at low speed and creating minimal wash for the duration of works.

Description
Works to be undertaken by third party at Hempstead Marina Ltd. Works are the installation of stop planks at the entrance to the dry dock using existing grooves. Works will involve dewater of a section of the canal to the entrance of the dry dock for the purpose of inspecting the dock gate and it’s mounting frame.
