The locks are being operated by volunteers as normal.
Description
With the current extreme temperatures our volunteer lock keepers at Foxton and Watford will be taking extended breaks to recover and protect them from sun and heat stroke.
Where possible boaters are asked to operate the locks themselves. If in particular need of help then please speak to the team on site who will be happy to help.
Boaters are reminded to book in with the lock keepers on arrival and follow instructions.
