We have seen significant improvement in water levels on the Ashby canal over the past few weeks, however they are still lower than normal.

Please continue to be mindful of low water and proceed with care.

Water levels continue to be low on the Ashby canal.

We are working with our West Midlands team to divert water however the pound is extremely long and this will take some time.

The water valve has been opened at Hawkesbury junction on the Oxford canal to allow water onto the Coventry canal, which will in turn allow water onto the Ashby canal. Water is also being diverted from the River Swift to help with supply.

Please continue to be mindful of low water and proceed with care.

Thank you for your patience.
