Please be advised navigation remains restricted to narrowboat access only at Lock 43, Greenberfield Locks on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a structural failure to the tail bridge. Our teams continue to await delivery of materials to complete the repair. Due to supply chain issue, the materials will not arrive before the upcoming closures being implemented on the lock flights along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal from Monday 18 July https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/notices/21826-lock-flight-operating-times-wigan-to-kirkstall-leeds-and-liverpool-canal Narrowboats are advised to use the towpath side paddles when operating the lock.

Narrowboats are advised to use the towpath side paddles when operating the lock.

Please be advised navigation remains restricted to narrowboat access only at Lock 43, Greenberfield Locks on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a structural failure to the tail bridge. Our teams have attended site and have created a method of repair. They are now awaiting attendance from the scaffolders and delivery of materials.
Narrowboats are advised to use the towpath side paddles when operating the Lock.
An update will be provided by Friday, 8 July.
