Description
This Saturday central Birmingham will be hosting a celebration of boats and boating, as 70+ narrowboats parade through as part of the Birmingham 2022 Festival.
The parade will be travelling from the Roundhouse down to Edgbaston and Selly Oak, passing through Gas Street Basin, so this section is likely to be particularly busy on and off the water.
The navigation and towpath will remain open, but you are likely to find it slower than usual to get through, particularly around the winding points at the Mailbox, the Vale and Selly Oak, so please proceed with caution.
