Netherton Tunnel, Birmingham Canal Navigations

In order to allow the safe passage of paddleboards during a public event, Netherton Tunnel will be closed to boat traffic on Saturday 4th June between 1.30 and 3.30pm.

Volunteers will be on site at both ends of the tunnel to monitor access and provide information to customers on and off the water.  We kindly ask customers to wait for passage outside the tunnel until all paddlers have travelled through. The tunnel will re-open to boats after the event by 3.30pm at the latest.
