Bridgwater & Taunton Canal - Lock 6, Higher Maunsel Lock to Lock 5, Lower Maunsel Lock

Please be advised that we are planning an inspection of the ground paddles at Lower Maunsel Lock so that we can understand why they are so heavy to use and plan future works to rectify.

This will mean reducing levels between the two locks so that we can see the paddles and mechanism clearly, but we expect inspection works to be completed and the pound refilled within the working day.

Please ensure that boats are removed from the pound before 08:00 on the 31st May to avoid delays.
