Near Crick Marina - Leicester Line

Every year at Crick Boat Show a temporary bridge goes up over the navigation to connect the towpath to the marina and show ground.  - NN6 7XT

The temporary Bridge will be constructed over the 23rd and 24th May, between 10am and 3pm.  The deconstruction of the Bride will then be on the 7th June, between 10am and 3pm. 

Boaters will experience slight restrictions as the scaffolders are putting up the bridge and ferrying materials across in a work boat, from the marina to the towpath side.

Contractors will let boats pass through as and when is safe and possible to do so, but there could be delays of 2-3 hours, depending on where they are with the job.

The scaffolders will be as flexible as they can be, and if a number of boats build up, they will stop to allow them through.  However, it’s essential that they get 2-hour solid stretches where they do not move the work boat.
