Bridge 134 to 135A, Shropshire Union Canal Wervin

Please note, to maintain a safe working environment, and to ensure the safety of our customers, as works continue at site, mooring along the towpath between Bridge 134, Caughall Bridge and Bridge 135A, M53 Motorway Bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal continue to be suspended. This includes the 48hrs visitor mooring adjacent to the north side of Bridge 134.

Works are now expected to be complete mid-September.

This includes the 48hrs visitor mooring adjacent to the north side of Bridge 134.

Please be advised that our contractors will be onsite between Bridge 134, Caughall Bridge and Bridge 135A, M53 motorway bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal to carry out improvements and re-surface the towpath. 

For the safety of our users the towpath will be closed for the duration of the works. 

Although the navigation will remain open, we politely ask customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by our contractors on site
