Description

We are carrying out construction works in connection with Hebden Bridge Flood Alleviation Scheme.

There will be a diversion in place. The diversion route has been agreed with disability organisations, the highway authority, and cycling organisations.

Boaters moored between the exit at Stubbing Holme Road and Hebble End Bridge will have access via a locked gate across the towpath. This gate will have a Yale BWB standard Padlock which can be operated by a boater's key.

The towpath will be able to be used between Hebble End bridge 18 and Fountain Street, however, exit/entry to the canal towpath at Hebble End bridge will be at the discretion of towpath users and not DDA compliant.
