We would like to inform you that this stoppage has been removed from the winter programme and will not be carried out.
We have made the decision to withdraw this grouting stoppage due to the project coming in over budget when finalised.
A stoppage is required to carry out some repair works. Resin grouting will be put behind the lock walls to fill up any voids and prevent deterioration of the lock structure.
