Towpath between St Vincent Street Bridge & Monument Road Bridge

Contractors on behalf of Western Power Distribution are to undertake urgent repairs to the underground electricity cable following on from the initial trial hole works. 

A pedestrian/cyclist route will be formed around the works by diverting users onto the council owned property along the rear of the excavation, thereby enabling the towpath to remain open.  

Contractors on behalf of Western Power Distribution are to undertake trial hole works to ascertain the exact location of a cable fault.    Once located the actual repair works will be undertaken. An updated notice will be issued to cover these works.   We kindly ask customers to follow directions and take extra care when passing through the area.
