The tree has been cleared and no longer blocking the navigation.

Our contractors are attending site and aim to have the tree cleared by the end of today.

We will update the website accordingly once the work is completed.

A tree has fallen across the navigation between bridges 38 and 39 on the Ashby canal.

The tree is partially blocking the canal.

Narrowboats can pass with care, but wide-beams may struggle.

We have reported this to our contractors and as soon as we have a time scale for it's removal, we will update the website accordingly.
