Goldshill Stop Railway Bridge, Tame Valley Canal

The navigation and towpaths will be closed when Midland Metro install the new bridge deck.

Both the northern and southern towpath will be closed from 21st to 24th March and the navigation will be closed between 7pm and 7am on 21st, 22nd and 23rd March 2022.

It may be possible for boats to pass through the work area between 7pm and 9pm on the evenings of closure (21st to 23rd March), however, a complete navigation closure will be enforced between 9pm and 7am during this period.

Banksman and signages will be utilised. We kindly request boating customers to follow directions given on site and towpath users to take extra care when using alternative routes.
