Kennet & Avon Canal - Widcombe Footbridge & Victoria Footbridge, Bath

Please be advised that contractors on behalf of Bath and North East Somerset Council will be undertaking bridge surveys beneath Widcombe and Victoria Footbridges in Bath from a floating pontoon and scaffold tower.

Navigation of the Kennet and Avon Canal will remain open.

There will be lookouts in place to warn of any approaching craft, at which point the pontoon will be retracted from beneath the bridge if necessary to allow safe passage for the craft.
