Our contractors have been on site all day and after a lot of hard work, have been able to clear the blockage in the pipework, which was affecting the pumps.
The cause of the blockage and issues affecting the Elsan, was once again miss-use of the site and none waste items being disposed of, such as plastics and sanitary-ware.
Can we please remind people to respect our customer service facilities and to dispose of their waste correctly.
Continued miss-use will only result in further closures of our facilities.
We can advise the facilities are now working again and can be used as normal.

Our contractors will be back on site on Thursday 27th January, to try and resolve the ongoing issue at Beeston Elsan.
We will update our website as soon as we have more information.
We appreciated our customers continue patience, while we try to get this issue fixed as quickly as possible.

Our contractors attended site as planned, but unfortunately further complications have arisen.
More extensive work is required to repair the pumps and the blocked pipework and we are doing all we can to fix this issue as quickly as possible.
We do not have a time scale for completion at this moment in time, but as soon as we have more information, we will update the website.
We sincerely apologise for the continued delays and appreciated everyone's patience at this time.

Due to an unforeseen complication, our contractors were unable to carry out the repairs needed to the pumps at Beeston CSF.
Unfortunately, they will not be able to complete the required works until Monday 17th, as they need further specialist equipment.
This does mean that the Elsan will remain out of action until these works are completed. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and appreciate your patience at this time.

We have arranged for our contractors to be back on site tomorrow, to carry out the required works to deal with the blockage in the pumps at Beeston CSF.
