We have now been able to complete the repairs to the bridge with our contract partners.
Description
A vehicle accident at Morton’s Bridge (Br 56) on the Grand Union Canal has caused significant damage to the bridge parapet. The Police and Highways have been onsite to close the road and our team have been able to make the bridge safe by removing overhanging, loose bricks.
Our Engineers will be investigating the incident and assessing the condition of the bridge so that the notice can be updated accordingly.
