Tunnel 2, Curzon Tunnel, Digbeth Branch, Birmingham & Fazeley Canal

The navigation and towpath will remain open. Contractors on behalf of Network Rail will be undertaking an inspection of the tunnel from a pontoon and small scaffold tower. The navigation will remain open with lookouts in place to warn the inspection team of any approaching boat or towpath traffic. Customers may experience short delays. The pontoon will be removed from the tunnel to allow boats to safely pass through the inspection area. Please take extra care when passing this area.
