We are pleased to advise the tree obstructing navigation has been removed and the canal is now open at the Capernwray Arm Basin Visitor Moorings on the Lancaster Canal.

Description

Please be advised navigation is closed to the Capernwray Arm Basin Visitor Moorings on the Lancaster Canal due to a windblown tree.

Contractors have been informed and we anticipate they will be on site next week to remove the obstruction.

Please note, this closure does not impact on navigation to/from Tewitfield.

An update will be provided by Friday, 15 October.
