Please be advised that a canoeing event organised by Newbury Canoe Club is due to take place on Sunday 26th September.
The event will start and finish at Newbury Wharf with the turn-around point at Aldermaston Wharf.
The canal will remain open but please proceed slowly and with care. Please follow the advice of the event stewards and safety boats on the water.
