Yorks Bridge, Pelsall Common, Walsall, Wyrley & Essington Canal

The towpath is closed but navigation will remain open. Contactors on behalf of the pub will be undertaking essential repairs to the roof. Scaffolding will be required on the towpath. The Trust are also undertaking piling works along this section of canal and due to the narrow towpath, the towpath at Yorks Bridge will need to be closed to facilitate the works. 

Signage will be present locally with a short diversion route in place for towpath users to follow. Canal traffic will not be affected but care should be taken whilst passing through this section.
