Description
Contractors AOne+ will be working on the M62 Bridge to replace the existing parapets along with the approach and departure transitions.
As part of the works installation of temporary edge protection is required prior to commencing proposed works and removal of temporary edge protection after completing proposed works.
Therefore the canal needs to be closed on a night time only to allow for works to go ahead with minimal impact to navigation users.
Both the towpath and track either side of the navigation will also be closed with diversions in place. Again this will just be during the evening only from 8pm until 6am each day.
No disruption to boaters or towpath users is anticipated during the daytime throughout the works.
