This stoppage has been completed. We have successfully managed to complete these works ahead of schedule.
The details of this Stoppage have changed. Our contractors have reviewed these works and the scale of the required Stoppage has been reduced. Stoppage will now take place from 31/01/2022 – 25/02/2022. We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused.
A stoppage is required, a CCTV investigation of interior condition of the culvert 121 identified that some reair works are requied.
The works involved will be relinning of the culvert to prevent further deterioration of existing condition grade. Also, construction of two new manholes on either sides of the culvert, repair of the exisiting wash wall and relining the bed of canal with clay.
