The remains of the tree have now been removed and the navigation is available for passage.

The contractors attended yesterday and were able to remove part of the tree, however they have had to arrange specialist equpment to return back this morning to remove the stem and root ball.
Once this is complete we will updtae the notice accordingly.

Our contractors will be attending site this afternoon to remove the tree.

Description
A large tree has fallen across the navigation and is blocking the towpath.
The local team have been notified and we are currently assessing the actions that need to be taken to safely remove the tree.
