Site of former Rocksavage swing bridge at Cholmondeley Road, adjacent to Runcorn Rowing Club.

Description

A stoppage is required to enable third party contractors working for National Grid to use a temporary bailey bridge to bring large apparatus to their site at Frodsham, opposite Runcorn Rowing Club.

Clearances cannot be achieved under the bridge, therefore the river will be closed to all traffic. The towpath will be also be closed during installation and removal of the bridge and when the apparatus is being dellivered to site.
