Edge of garden piling at Waverton - Shropshire Union Canal

Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 119, Egg Bridge and Bridge 118, Davies Bridge on the Shropshire Union canal to install sheets of piling to a privately owned property on the offside of the canal.

To be able to carry out the necessary works, the contractors will be using a work boat but may also be in the water as well as on the canal bank.

The navigation will remain open but we politely request both towpath and canal users to approach the area with caution. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
