Sewer Replacement Works - Leeds & Liverpool Canal

Works are been conducted on the sewer in the culvert below the canal.

As part of these works 1.5 tonne vehicles will be travelling along the towpath. 

Towpath users should be aware that small vehicles are travelling along towpath, however the towpath will not be closed.

Please note that boaters will not be affected.

Towpath users may be requested to step aside to allow vehicles to pass.
