The water level will be lowered by 100mm to enable works to be undertaken to the embankment. Navigation should not be affected, however boaters are requested to proceed with caution. The towpath will officially be closed between Avoncliff Aqueduct and Bridge 173 (Bradford-on-Avon Swingbridge), however it will be open during evenings and weekends. The towpath will be open to boaters to allow access onto their boats moored along this section of towpath.
