This stoppage has been completed. We have successfully managed to complete these works ahead of schedule.

Description

A stoppage is required to carry out repairs to the Top & Bottom Gates, Masonry Repairs & Lock Ladder modifications.

Our teams have discovered that more work is required.

We now also need to do some works to the twin lock as well, we will be removing the old gates and installing a dam. With the increased work and the fact that the bottom gates now need lifting out, sailing off to an access point, taking away for shotblasting and then off to the workshop for new heads and heels, our team will be planning to start these works earlier than 8th November as intially published.
