Towpath scaffolding works next to Elland Bridge

Due to a few more roof repairs to undertake than first anticipated, we have been advised that the work has been extended until 23rd May.

Description

The towpath will be narrowed for a short period in order for a Third Party Contractor to erect a small scaffold to repair a buildings roof on the edge of the canal.

Signage will be in place and cyclists should dismount to pass through the site.

Public access using the towpath will be available throughout the works. However, please follow instructions given by staff on site as members of the public may be asked to stop whilst the scaffold is erected and dismantled.

Boats should not be impacted as a result of the works.
