Marple Railway Viaduct Works

Please be advised Third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 15B on the Peak Forest Canal to install monitoring markers to the offside abutment of the railway bridge.

The works will be carried out via a temporary pontoon and scaffold.  

Although the canal and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution, to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite and be prepared to wait if necessary.
