Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 123G, Northgate Street and Bridge 123E, Cow Lane on the Shropshire Union Canal to inspect and remove vegetation from the Chester City Walls.
The third-party contractors will be abseiling to inspect the walls and remove vegetation between Northgate Street Bridge and Phoenix Tower.
Whilst both navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
