Lock 91, Deansgate Lock to Lock 90, Albion Mill - Deansgate Locks - Footbridge & Mezzanine Refurbishment - Rochdale Canal

Please be advised due to unexpected delay with the contractors, the works will now commence from 8th March and will end 11th June

Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Lock 91 Deansgate Lock and Lock 90, Albion Mill Lock on the Rochdale canal to carry out essential refurbishment works to a third-party owned Footbridge and Mezzanine.

To be able to carry out the necessary works, a pontoon working platform will be used. We politely request both towpath and canal users to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage.

We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
