From Wednesday 10 February, the lift will operate one morning a week, for essential travel purposes only, first passage 10am.

We are pleased to advise our mechanical and electrical engineers have carried out a successful repair to the flood damaged components on Anderton Boat Lift. A completed satisfactory testing has been carried out of the lift over the weekend.
The defective water pumps remain with a specialist contractor, however we have installed a temporary solution which will allow us to operate the lift.

Please be advised our mechanical and electrical engineers will be continuing to carry out the replacement of a flood damaged component from the Anderton Boat Lift.
As part of this work our engineers will also need to carry out operational testing of the boat lift.
Following the testing, which will be carried out over the next few days we will provide a further update on Monday 8 February.

Please be advised our engineers are continuing work towards a resolution for the flood damaged pumps at Anderton Boat Lift.
Operational testing of the lift will also be carried out this week and an update provided on Thursday 4 February.

We are pleased to report the flood water has now receded sufficiently to enable access to our equipment. The flood damaged pumps are being removed from the lift and will be transferred to a specialist contractor for repair.
At present we are not in receipt of an estimated timeframe for the repair by our contractors.
A further update will be provided Tuesday 2 February.
