Railway Bridge 88E, Small Heath, Grand Union Canal

The canal navigation and towpath will remain open for the duration of the works.

Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail will be carrying out repairs to the rail bridge utilising a floating pontoon. A tower scaffold will also be used on the towpath to undertake repairs. Customers are advised to take extra care, follow signage and banksmen’s directions when passing through this area.
