After assessment on the river this morning, the Weaver Navigation is open for boat traffic. Please proceed with caution

Please be advised, in an attempt to re-open the Weaver Navigation, it has now been deemed unsafe to re-open and will therefore remain closed due to adverse weather conditions.

Please be advised the Weaver Navigation will be open from 12pm today, with lock operations commencing at 1pm at Saltersford Lock. Please see here for the full schedule of the lock (Dutton, Saltersford, Hunts and Vale Royal) operating times.

Please note, this will be kept under review should the adverse weather conditions continue.

Description

Please be advised due to the adverse weather conditions resulting in high water levels, navigation is currently closed on the river. Our local team are aware and are onsite to help with water management.

An update will be provided once normal levels have resumed.
