The contractors have advised the revised start and finish date for these works: the replacement will now take place from 2nd November to 27th November.

Please be advised that the gas main removal works has been postponed. The works will now take place between 26th October to 20th November.
Description
The towpath will be closed during the removal of redundant gas main but access to moorings at Bridge 54 will not be affected. The navigation remains open throughout.
Third party contractors will be removing a redundant gas main from the towpath between Bridge 54 and Froghall Pipe Bridge. Warning signs, barriers and banksmen will be used.
